Symposium 2006

Technology transfer can be boosted by Cameroonians and other African engineers and computer scientists working in world’s leading companies and universities. The VKII Workshop offers an opportunity for everyone to meet an investigate ways by which technology can efficiently be transferred to Africa. Anyone interested in this workshop is invited to submit a contribution in form of an abstract. After the approval of the abstract a detailed contribution would be expected for the symposium’s proceedings. Keynote presentations and formal paper sessions will provide baseline knowledge for discussions and possible project proposals.

Submission of contribution
Authors are invited to submit an abstract with the maximum length of 2 pages in postscript, pdf, or word format to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Papers should clearly describe the nature of the work, explain its significance, highlight its novel features, and state its contribution to the development of LDCs. Authors of selected abstracts will be invited to give a talk on their contribution at the workshop. They may also submit an extended manuscript for the workshop proceedings. Contributions may be written in English, German and French.
